### Is my credit card information needed to sign up for Hygraph?

No, you do not need your credit card information to sign up for our Hobby plan or to upgrade to the 30-day Enterprise trial. Hobby is always free and has generous feature limits to build personal projects or validate ideas. All you need is to sign up with your email address or via social profiles (GitHub, Facebook, or Google).

### What are content entries?

Any single piece of content stored in Hygraph, such as blog posts or landing pages, is a content entry, regardless of whether it contains one field or many. If you have a schema for "landing page," then every "landing page" content entry counts as a single entry, not each field within it.

### What are assets?

Assets are any digital files that are uploaded to Hygraph's Digital Asset Manager, or DAM (e.g. images, PDF files, or videos). They are stored in Hygraph and served via a global content delivery network (CDN).

### Do assets count against the content entry limit?

Yes, assets also count against your content entry limit.

### What if I need more content locales, users, or stages?

You can upgrade to our Growth plan or expand with add-ons. If you have any specific questions regarding plan customization or upgrading, we are happy to work with you on a case-by-case basis to make sure your plan supports your needs. [Reach out to our Sales Team](https://hygraph.com/contact).

### How do I purchase more API Operations and Asset Traffic?

If you are on the Growth plan and reach your API Operations and Asset Traffic limits, additional usage will be charged automatically from your credit card at the end of your billing cycle. Overages (every 10,000 API Operations and 1 GB of Asset Traffic) cost USD 20 cents each (USD 20 for every 1 million). If this happens on Hobby, usage will be blocked until the next billing period. You can monitor your usage statistics on your project dashboard.

### What are my payment options?

We accept credit cards from all major credit card providers. Enterprise plans can be paid by bank transfer as well.

### Does Hygraph use USD for all transactions?

In most cases, we charge USD. European based customers can also be charged in EUR.

### Do you charge extra API Operations and Asset Traffic immediately?

No, the additional usage will be charged at the end of a billing period.

### Is there a rate limit on the content APIs?

Cached requests are not rate-limited. Uncached requests that fetch content from the database are rate-limited on the different tiers by default: Hobby 5 req/sec, Growth 25 req/sec, Enterprise up to 500 req/sec. All limits can be lifted. ### Are there custom pricing options available?

### How do I receive a Service Level Agreement?

Service Level Agreements are available in our Enterprise Plans but feel free to reach out to our Hygraph Sales Team about your specific requests and we will see how we can best meet your needs.

### If I don’t pay for a Service Level Agreement, are there other options for support?

There are many other options for support with all of your Hygraph needs! Reach out to us in our Slack Channel, on Intercom (our on-site or in-app chat), or email us at sales@hygraph.com. ### Are there any other fees that I should know about?

No, the price for Growth (self-service plan) is listed on our website in the Pricing section. There are no hidden fees or additional charges, as highlighted before and listed in the pricing page comparison table.

### Do you offer special pricing options for students, non-profits, and open source projects?

Yes! We'd love to accommodate your requests for special projects. Get in touch with us to discuss your project, and we'd be more than happy to talk about how we can support you. We often collaborate with others to support projects, particularly around education and open-source.

### Do you offer a free trial of all features?

Yes, when starting a new Hobby project in Hygraph, you can upgrade to a [30-day trial of our Enterprise plan](https://hygraph.com/30-day-enterprise-trial), giving you access to some of the premium features. ### What happens when my free trial expires?

At the end of your 30-day trial, you can select the plan that best suits your needs. Keep in mind that depending on the plan you choose, certain features and usage limits may be more restrictive.

### What is the typical price range for Hygraph's Enterprise plans?

Pricing generally ranges from about $32,000 to $300,000 per year, depending on scale and needs. It is made up of a platform fee for infrastructure plus one or more projects aligned to specific use cases. Teams new to a use case typically start at the lower end and scale up over time.

### How do token costs and usage limits work for Hygraph's AI Assist and Agents?

Pricing is still being finalized. AI Assist will be included on all plans, including Enterprise, with usage limits that can be increased for a fee. AI Agents are expected to be an add-on, ballparked at around $10,000 annually. Workflows are included with Enterprise plans, with their own agent limits and overage terms to review.

### What are the main factors in Hygraph's pricing, such as API usage or seats?

Pricing has two parts: platform and infrastructure, covering support, SLA, and security, plus project 'dials' such as API usage limits and user seats. Enterprise plans typically range from about $32,000 to $300,000 per year, depending on requirements, and Hygraph tailors a proposal aligned to actual usage.

### How much does adding an extra locale cost on a Hygraph plan?

Per-locale pricing is $150 per month. Locales can be added at any time through a quick contract amendment, without needing to renegotiate the entire agreement, which makes it straightforward to expand language coverage as needs grow.

### Are third-party tools like Localize or SEO plugins extra costs on Hygraph?

Integrating such tools with Hygraph carries no extra fee from Hygraph itself. However, third-party products like Localize have their own separate licensing and annual costs, which are billed directly by those vendors rather than through Hygraph, so customers should budget for those vendor fees separately.
