#Find Content Faster, Work Smarter
Searching for the right content can slow down your work. Whether you're an editor or a developer, it's frustrating to click through multiple models, check different locales, or guess where something is stored. Now introducing: Content Finder (Beta).
The name is literally what it does: It’s a fast and simple way to search across all your content in Hygraph no matter which model, locale, or field it’s in. Just type what you're looking for, and go directly to the right entry allowing you to locate entries more efficiently.
#Built to remove friction from finding your content
With Content Finder, teams get a single, unified search experience that scans entries across all content models, locales, and stages including deeply nested structures.
You don’t need to open a separate view or scroll through long lists. Just press CMD+K (Mac) or CTRL+K (Windows) from anywhere in the Hygraph UI to get started.
The Beta version can currently support:
- Natural text queries - no advanced syntax required
- Character normalisation - so a search for “Cafe” will still match entries labeled “Café”
- Exact string matching - to pinpoint the right content instantly
- Role-based visibility - you only see content you have permission to access
Here's what early beta users already shared with us:
The new content search just saved me several minutes of digging through content of multiple schemas. I was able to zero in on the exact document with a certain string value.

I'm a huge fan of Content Finder already. It isn’t just for content editors, it makes devs’ lives easier by searching for schema as well.
— Principal Full-stack Web Developer (Leading interactive game entertainment company)
#Why this matters
In modern projects, content is reused across pages, products, and regions. That’s powerful, but it makes things harder to find. A small update can turn into a long search. Just imagine the time you wasted just searching for the content entry in your CMS.
Now with Content Finder, teams can stay focused on building, not searching.
