Last November, we launched AI Assist Early Access, giving enterprise customers an intelligent content editing assistant built directly into Hygraph Studio. Today, we’re making AI Assist available to everyone, on every plan, with improvements.
#What is AI Assist?
AI Assist helps editors generate, improve, and translate content directly within the content entry experience. It's schema-aware, meaning it understands your content model and produces suggestions that fit your field types and constraints.
Create content: Generate drafts for any supported field with a simple prompt. Whether you need headlines, descriptions, or rich text, AI Assist produces relevant suggestions that match your tone and structure.
Improve existing content: Refine text for clarity, tone, and readability. Review inline diffs and accept or revert changes while maintaining complete editorial control.
Translate content: Localize text into any configured locale while preserving structure, formatting, and embedded content.
You can process up to five fields at once, and all suggestions are reviewable before being applied. Your existing roles and permissions are fully respected.

AI Assist is now enabled for every Hygraph project with different monthly AI token allocations depending on your plan:
- Free projects include a baseline token allowance to get started
- Self-service plans offer expanded limits for regular use
- Enterprise plans provide the highest allocations for large-scale operations
#Improvements since EA
We've also improved how AI Assist handles multi-field operations. Results now return for each field as soon as they're ready, so you can start reviewing immediately rather than waiting for everything to complete. This makes working with larger content fields faster and more responsive.
